Fall is here at SomArt. We welcome so many exciting artists to the studios and encourage you to be on the lookout for all they offer. From classes, workshops, informal showings, rehearsals, and performances SomArt artists are creating new work in abundance and working hard to present it to the community. Artists include Midday Movement, Ellen Godena, Olivier Besson, Jean Appolon Dance Expressions (JAE), FlowState 5Rhythms with Joel Stanley, Boston Italian Theatre Company, Synchronicity Dance, Ensemble InEdit, Nozama, Darnell “Snoopy” Brown, Detritus Dance, Paul Kafka (THANG), Kiniscape, Katya Popova and Isaac Dubow, Papa Sy, and more!

Highlights of these next few months include:
Midday Movement – 3 classes per week: Tues 6-7:30 pm, Wednesday 10-12pm, Thursday 12pm-2pm

“Jean Appolon Expressions is excited to hold weekly company rehearsals at The Hive. JAE is currently developing a new evening-length work titled Pouvwa (Power in Haitian Creole), as well as a collaborative multi-media piece titled Black Is Black. These new works both incorporate projections and The Hive has some wonderful technical equipment to support the rehearsal process for these pieces.”
