So you’re producing a show and you want to add lighting, costumes, and sound design for the first time.  Maybe you know about one of those fields, but the other two are a mystery.  How many people do you need to help you?  How can you organize that work?  What are the right kinds of roles to hire to help you fulfill your vision?  In this workshop, we will discuss what different roles like a costume designer, a production electrician, or a production manager do to create and execute a design.  We’ll talk about how performances big and small structure their technical staff and designers.  And finally, we’ll talk about how to work with production designers and technicians to execute your vision.
