Class Description: Class will begin with a somatic based warm up, infusing improvisation based on textural imagery from poetry to dynamize our musculature and liquify the joints. We will continue to build and manipulate phrase work in a score as a form of world-building. Participants will be encouraged to engage in this class through movement, writing and drawing. Bringing a notebook and writing utensil is recommended!
